“Eurostat’s announcement paves the way for a debate on Greek debt relief, based on everything agreed upon with partners. In the next Eurogroup, of May 5th, the Greek government will table this issue in order to begin talks”, stated the Finance Minister, underlining that “Greece is eliminating the triangle of deficits-fiscal deficit, productive deficit, deficit of competitiveness- supporting the knowledge triangle of Education, Research and Innovation.

Addressing the delegates, Mr. Stournaras said: “The Economic Adjustment Programme is going well. It is bringing in positive results.
