According to the announced the country’s armed forces at least 60 militants of the Islamic State were killed by aerial bombing of a prison in the city of Mosul, in northern Iraq.

Approximately 300 residents of the city, which were held by the Islamist fighters in jail have managed to escape after the bombing, said in a statement the military intelligence service, according to the independent news website Almada Press.
