The new European Long Jump champion, Miltos Tentoglou picked up his gold medal after beating the competition in Berlin with an 8.25 jump on Thursday night. Famous veteran athlete, Robert Emiyan, who competed with the USSR and Armenia in the past presented the Greek champion with his medal in the ceremony which took place on Friday as torrential rain prevented the ceremony from taking place on Thursday night after the long jump event.
