The National Meeting of New Democracy’s youth organization (ONNED) was concluded on Sunday with the speech of the Secretary of ND’s political committee, Andreas Papamimikos.

In his address, Papamikos stressed the need to proceed immediately with the reforms in the country and noted that Greece is exiting from the crisis.

Regarding speculations on ND’s overture, he said that the “real overture is the one that is based on new ideas and policies, that will represent the majority of the Greek people and that will give voice to the middle class, the freelancers and all the productive professionals.”

He clarified that the aim is to join forces with those who “believe in ND’s vision for a new Greece and those who are not afraid to fight against the establishment and also against their own past”.

Papamimikos also accused main opposition SYRIZA of seeking political instability and social tension.
