The father of Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, Antonis will be laid to rest on Monday, January 28. The funeral services will take place to the cemetery of Vyronas at 1.30 pm. Antonis Lanthimos passed last Friday, only two days after Yorgos’s movie ‘The Favorite” was nominated for 10 academy awards.
Antonis Lanthimos was born in 1944 and played professional basketball for Athenians club Pangrati BC, while he was also part of the Greek national team.
