Center for Disease Control: “Children should be sent to school after being without fever for two days”

The victims of the flu were all in high-risk groups, but they were not vaccinated

Newsroom February 13 01:52

“We are in the midst of the epidemic crisis, we have many incidences, but this was expected. We must all individually take measures, but also those who belong to the vulnerable groups should be vaccinated“, told the vice-president of the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (HCDCP), Mr. Terzides, to the state TV channel ET1.

Mr. Terzidis said that the victims of the flu were all in high-risk groups, but they were not vaccinated and this is a common feature in Europe.

Also for children who are sick, he said that, “children get sick more easily because they go to school and co-exist in closed spaces. It is not an effective measure to close schools. We have to send the children who have been ill at school after being without fever for two full days“.
