Ukrainian President Peter Porosenko appeared on Monday “very anxious” after the announcement of Moscow that plans to send another convoy with humanitarian aid to the eastern provinces of the country, but also from a breach of the Ukrainian border by a Russian armored convoy.
The Ukrainian presidency in a statement said that: “The Head of State expressed his deep concern over the violation of Ukrainian borders of Russian tanks and Russia’s intention to send a humanitarian convoy in Ukraine”.
The statement was made in a telephone conversation between Porosenko with the European Council President Herman van Rompuy for the meeting to be held tomorrow, in which the Russian President Vladimir Putin will also be present.
