Greek tenor Marios Frangoulis will give a special concert on Friday September 5 at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, a beautiful stone theatre that dominates the western end on the south slope of the Acropolis.
In this concert, which is dedicated to life and people, Frangoulis will perform, for the first time, with noted Norwegian soprano Sissel and will be accompanied by the National Symphonic Orchestra of NERIT (Public Television) conducted by maestro Richard Balcombe.
Frangoulis is a classically trained tenor who grew up in Athens where his musical talent was evident from a young age. He sings in Italian, Spanish, English, French, and Greek, and he is fluent in all five languages.
