Spain has won the 2019 FIBA basketball world Cup in Beijing, China after comfortably defeating a gallant Argentinian team by 20 points (95-75).  Despite the valiant efforts by Argentina, who few predicted would even reach the final, Spain was simply too strong, while a quiet Luis Scola did not help his team’s cause to stage an upset, as the veteran centre scored few points.
