Twenty four illegal migrants were found and rescued in Agrilia of Mytilene by the Coast Guard.

The twenty-two immigrants were arrested because they lacked legal travel documents, while an 18 year old was also arrested, who tore up the dinghy they were travelling in when he realized that the Coast Guard were upon them. Along with them, the 23 year old foreigner handler of the boat was also detained.

A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Central port Authority of Mytilene.
