Two of the first confirmed cases of coronavirus in Greece, a 38-year-old woman from Thessaloniki and her son, will be discharged from hospital after recovering from the virus, the head of the AHEPA hospital coronavirus referral centre, Symeon Metallidis, told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Thursday.
“In AHEPA hospital we are treating eight patients infected with coronavirus. Six of them are in stable condition and are gradually completing their time in hospital, so what remains is for us to decide medically when they are ready to be discharged to continue their treatment at home. The first two cases will be discharged from hospital in the next few days, by the end of the week,” he said.
