The list of value and locations to be corrected have been transferred to the competent department of Electronic Governance and employees are working day and night to correct the tragic errors of ENFIA tax.
The changes in property tax led to incredible errors. One of the most distinctive example was recorded at Solomos, Corinth. According to “TA NEA” newspaper, the value of a land of 1 stremma was set at 2,080 million euros, whereas the new amended ENFIA tax sets the value of the same area at 770,714 euros.
According to the article published, another example was recorded at the village of Moloha, Kozani. It is a a deserted mountain village with just 20 residents. According to the property tax of 2013 the rateable value for 1 stremma was 3,000 euros, whereas according to ENFIA tax of 2014 was set to 165,000 euros.
Fortunately, though, these tragic errors have now been corrected.
All taxpayers, even those who have already paid the first installment before the end of August, should enter the Taxisnet system (www.gsis.gr) to check if the amount of the ENFIA tax is still pending for payment or has already been paid.
