Crete’s tourism campaign “Incredible Crete: Surprisingly yours!” was honored at the 6th International Festival of Tourism and Environmental Film Festival Silver Lake Tourfilm Festival (SILAFEST ’14).
The festival took place in Veliko Gradiste, Serbia from 31 August to 6 September under the auspices of the International Committee of the tourism films festival (CIFFT).
The Region of Crete, Greece, was given the “Silver Wave – Best Tourism Film” award for the best tourism film internationally in the category of tourism and ecology film for the video “Crete: All the world on one island.”
Crete was also honored with the “Blue Danube – Best Art & Tourism Film” award for the video “Crete: Incredible History”.
