Lady Gaga welcomed the Greek audience on Friday night at Olympic Athletic Center of Athens by saying “Greece is the most beautiful country in the world”.

Even though the stadium was not very crowded, the about 20,000 fans of the eccentric pop star who attended the event enjoyed an incredible show which lasted about two hours.

Lady Gaga praised the ancient Greek culture and talked about Acropolis and Parthenon. She said that “If Acropolis, Parthenon and all this amazing architecture monuments managed to survive, then you can survive,”, whereas the Greek audience cheered for her.

“You should know that we are proud of your country,” she added and then wrapped her body with a big Greek flag. She then started singing one of her ballads while playing piano.

A very touching moment was when one of her “monsters” threw at the stage a pink teddy bear with a letter addressed to “MotherMonster” and Lady Gaga started reading.

The fan was writing about how Lady Gaga helped him overcome a very difficult personal situation. He said that he was a victim of bullying and thanked the pop start for helping him get over that and stand up. While Lady Gaga was reading the letter, she could not hold back her tears and she then confessed that she had also been a victim of bullying when she was young.
