Shocking discovery: 49-year-old woman buried alive in Thessaloniki

Woman managed to wake up from a coma only to find that she had been buried alive and died of asphyxia - Shortly after her funeral bypassers herd faint voices coming from beneath the ground - The authorities were alerted but unfortunately when they arrived at the scene was too late

The police department in Thessaloniki is called to investigate an extremely gruesome case. On Thursday afternoon according to reports a 49-year-old woman was buried alive.
The relatives of the unfortunate woman support that she managed to wake up from a coma only to die of asphyxia shortly after her funeral.

The General Police Division in Thessaloniki has confirmed that the woman was hospitalized in a private hospital in town and according to the doctors she passed away. Her relatives received her body on Thursday afternoon at 6.30 p.m. while made the arrangements of her funeral that took place in the cemetery in the area of Pieria.

At the end of the funeral, after all relatives had left the grave, some people living in the area as well as some young children playing outside the cemetery, heard a faint female voice coming from beneath the ground.

They immediately alerted the authorities which initiated an exhumation, but unfortunately it was too late.

The Public Prosecutor of Thessaloniki was informed of the case, while the relatives of the unfortunate woman, are accusing the doctors of the hospital and are expected soon to file charges against those responsible.
