Islamic militants are becoming a global threat

Islamic state militants have managed to spread fear across the Western world with many countries citizens’ feeling threatened.

Charleroi, Belgium

A 24-year-old Syrian philosophy student was arrested at an airport near the Belgian city of Charleroi on suspicion of being an Islamic militant. The young man had passed through Athens and was traveling on a fake passport.

A spokeswoman for the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday that her office was working to free the hostages.
