Marketing Greece recently arranged for the Travel Channel program Inside Luxury Travel, headed by presenter-producer Varun Sharma, to visit Athens.

The programme addresses affluent travellers, a key target group for Marketing Greece whose mission encompasses a strategic goal to increase the number of high-spend visitors.

Sharma and his crew spent a week in the Greek capital, where he partook in and showcased a selection of exclusive experiences.

Specifically, an entire episode of Inside Luxury Travel was filmed between September 14 and 20, within the framework of efforts to develop Athens’ profile as a luxury destination.
