Greece announced that the new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours are 19,731, of which 58 were identified after checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases amounts to 1,940,723 (daily change + 1.0%), of which 49.8% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 431 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,856 are related to an already known case.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 119, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 23,500 deaths have been recorded. 95.0% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. More specifically, out of the 119 new deaths, 58 were aged 80-89 years (48.7%), 25 were 90+ (21.0%), 24 were aged 70-79, nine deaths occurred between the ages of 60-69, two in the ages 50-59 and just one in the ages 40-49.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 576 (60.8% men). Their median age is 66 years. 83.9% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,035 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
The admissions of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the country are 398 (daily change -18.78%). The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
