Greece Race for the Cure to take place in Athens today

The race will take place on Sunday, September 28th, at Zappeion, at 11:30 a.m.!

For the 6th consecutive year, the Pan-hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois” organizes with the approval of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greece Race for the Cure, which consists of 5k Run Race and 2k Walk.

The race will take place on Sunday, September 28th, at Zappeion, at 11:30 a.m.!

Race for the Cure is the largest global awareness initiative for breast cancer prevention. The US organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure organizes this event for 31 years, in more than 140 cities of the world.

Registration: One can participate in the race individually or as a team member. Women, men, and children can take part in the race and deliver a strong message against breast cancer!

Race Starts at 11:30 a.m.

Alma Zois

Alma Zois is a nonprofit organization, which was founded in 1988 by women who had suffered from breast cancer. The uniqueness of the organization lies in the fact that all its members are women cured of breast cancer along with women who are still battling the illness. The organization aims at providing free of charge psychological support, information on all matters relating to health, job rights and on the facilities offered by public services to women diagnosed with breast cancer.
