“Very soon, the new national program of support against the consequences of the war and the imported energy ‘explosion’ will be announced very soon”, said the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during his introductory speech to the cabinet.
“These are measures that do not cover all the increases, but mitigate the losses from the increased prices. Because this battle with the pan-European crisis is unequal and eventually a pan-European response will be needed. At the national level, however, we are building our own embankments. So, I close this brief reference assuring that the government will stand by every citizen for as long as it takes”, said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
“The country’s energy adequacy is fully guaranteed,” he said.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke about the Russian blackmail for natural gas, emphasizing that “we will not violate EU sanctions”.
