A 54-year-old British tourist remained motionless on his sunbed in Crete for hours raising suspicions. Once the ambulance staff arrived they found the man was dead, according to cretapost.

According to a report from cretapost, the 54-year-old British tourist was enjoying the sun and the sea while lying on the sunbed on an organized beach in the area of ​​Stalida.

The rescuers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the unfortunate 54-year-old, but without any result. The man was taken to Heraklion University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The necropsy is expected to shed light on the causes that led to the death of the unfortunate tourist.
