Samaras and Avramopoulos spectate “Parmenion” military drill

Greek Prime Minister and Minister of Defense watched  military drill  in the exercise field ‘Eagle’ at Evros

With great success was completed today the final phase of the Regular military drill of Troops (TAMS) “PARMENION 2014” in the exercise field “Eagle” at the Evros border of Greece.

During the final phase, other than  the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense there were other MPs’ and members of the New Democracy party present as well , like Mr. Yiannis Ioanidis and Thanasis Bouras.

All the above watched the spectacular view of Performed fire of the artillery units, tanks of the Army, R / W Army Aviation and Air Force aircraft.

Mr. Samaras stated that: ” This is Greece of pride, Greece of power, Greece of prestige. In our Thrace and in our whole Homeland. Thrace is one of the safest corners of our Greece. I really want to congratulate the Armed Forces for this excellent in any way, exercise. The Armed Forces are the guarantor of our county’s security and I repeat that we are here and we just witnessed the pride, the strength, the dignity and the prestige of the Armed Forces”.

Finally, the Prime Minister concluded by saying that:” The Greek state will do whatever within its power  to respond in any way to the conditions, needs, including  the payroll issue in order to ensure the future of these brilliant kids. What we just viewed is  the soul of the Greek soldier, who is behind every airplane, every helicopter and each chariot. ”
