Despite the 14.1% increase in the price of an average double room from €78 per night in May 2013 to €89 euros per night this month, Greece remains one of the cheapest European destinations along with Bulgaria Romania and Poland.
The cheapest destination among the 24 countries involved in the survey is Bulgaria with 54 euros/night for a double room, followed by Romania with 66 euros/night and Poland with 69 euro/night.
The most expensive destinations in Europe according to the survey are Denmark (168 euros) and Norway (156 euros).
Among the 24 countries involved in Trivago’s survey, the only countries that are cheaper than Greece are Bulgaria (54 euros), Romania (66 euros) and Poland (69 euros).
