The Greek agrotourism will participate in the Greekland Panorama Fair through the Guest Inn network, the first Greek network of selected traditional and agrotourism accommodation that meet certain quality criteria.
The fair will take place from 13 to 15 February 2015 in Stockholm, Sweden in a big exhibition hall, the well-known Ericsson Globe Arena, which can easily accommodate a greater number of visitors, including a wider variety of exhibiting companies and partner events.
The Ericsson Globe is the world’s largest spherical building and has hosted concerts for more than 16,000 people, large sports events, world-famous artists, choirs, horses and world leaders from all over the world have stood on this stage.
More than 10,000 people are expected to visit the fair.
North Events company in cooperation with Guest Inn will create a special stand for alternative tourism to inform visitors of the exhibition presenting for the first time Greece as an alternative tourist destination.
According to Guest Inn data, bookings in agrotourism accommodations increased by 35% in 2014 compared to last year and bookings have already been made for the summer season of 2015. The top destinations include Crete and Cyclades, followed by Peloponnese, Central Greece and Thessaly, while most tourists come from France (78%).
GREKLAND PANORAMA in 2015 aims to provide an even greater experience to all visitors, present the best offers for travelling to Greece, live cooking and demonstrations of Greek gastronomy dishes, product sampling and lots of events and happenings with lucky draws and winnings for the public! Entrance to the fair will be via invitation (no cost – free entry) as in 2014.
For the first day of the event (Friday 13 February 2015), a comprehensive program for Greek tourism professionals has been announced including educational seminars and lectures for special and thematic tourism forms such as golf, yachting, alternative tourism, health tourism, MICE and luxury travel.
Also, on the same day, Greek professionals will have B2B meetings with representatives from the Scandinavian and Baltic market and in the evening, a special Greek event will take place.
