The question floating around for years and not clearly answered is whether “size matters”. Opinions differ on the issue and it is certain that a clear answer will never be given. For those who believe that size really does matter, a team of researchers analyzed data from nearly 90 countries to find out which country’s men have the average penis size when erect. Globally the average size of a molecule is 13.58 cm.
If you are looking for… these champions they are mainly found in Latin America as men from Ecuador appear to be the most gifted in the world, measuring an average of 17.6 cm, a figure that exceeds 10% of their body.
“No other topic has been requested more than the average size of male genitalia,” said one of the authors of the World Data study, explaining that the team conducted studies spanning 2001 to create the comprehensive list.
If you’re wondering how much the Greeks hold the flag high, the answer is probably not that much. Specifically, Greece is in 75th place in the ranking of 90 countries with 13.30 cm, being marginally above the Russians who record an average of 13.21 cm.
Interestingly, the researchers found no correlation between height and penis size – dispelling the old myth that taller men usually have bigger penises. While Ecuadorian men have the largest erect penises, the average man in this country is short, standing just 1.53 tall. On the other hand, Irish men come 71st in the size study, with the average erection being 12.78cm.
It is often claimed that the length of the male limb can be determined by the size of the shoe or the length of the index finger. In three of the more than 40 studies reviewed here, no association with index finger length was identified.
