NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today welcomed the Hungarian parliament’s ratification of Sweden’s membership of the Alliance.
“Now that all Allies have given their approval, Sweden will become the 32nd NATO Ally.
Sweden’s membership will make us all stronger and safer,” Stoltenberg said in a post on X.

Hungary was so far the last among the 31 NATO members that had not approved Sweden’s membership.
