Stefanos Kasselakis: Bought a house €1.7 million in Kolonaki – “The wedding with Tyler will take place outside of Athens”

He avoided giving answers about his businesses in the USA - "There was a gap, my candidacy just 'happened' - We will surpass 17.8% in the European elections"

Newsroom March 1 01:23

Stefanos Kasselakis attempted to completely distance himself from the former president and prime minister of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras, during his interview today on ANT1.

Describing how he “won the elections for SYRIZA with a sword,” Kasselakis asserted that “it is not true that Alexis Tsipras provided me with a mechanism,” closing the chapter on the “2015-2019 cycle” for the official opposition.

Mr. Kasselakis, who purchased a 250 sq.m. house in Kolonaki worth €1.7 million, defended his lifestyle, stating that every politician owes transparency and citizens should know what he does at home.

However, he remained vague regarding his business activity outside Greece. “I have some dividends without being in management,” he replied regarding his professional status and added that “I will do whatever it takes to transfer all activities within Greece.”

However, he argued that “there is no need to analyze what I have and what I don’t have” when asked if he owns a “lobster boats”.

Regarding the party’s electoral goal in the European elections, he said “we will surpass 17.8% by a lot, I want us to make a breakthrough,” adding that he will stay in Greece “forever,” in line with what his spouse, Tyler, stated in an interview yesterday, where he positioned their stay in the country within a decade’s horizon.
