Sofia Voultepsi throws “oil into fire” by bringing back into play the “bank run” theory of massive outflow of deposits from banks, in case SYRIZA comes to power.
More specifically the government spokeswoman stated that” Tsipras’ bravados in Europe may eventually lead to ATM shutdowns, just as happened in Cyprus”.
At the same time Ms Voultepsi spoke against SYRIZA, in response to statements by Panos Skourletis for bribing MPs on the presidential election, by saying that “there was a concert of misery” and the independent Justice will prove it, she added.
Further, she referred to SYYRIZA as a “culvert and a stench, that swears all day long”.
Allegedly, similar “off the record” statements were made by the Prime Minster in Parliaments cafeteria.
