Mitsotakis: The future of LARCO, his meeting with representatives of workers’ unions

Government's goal: To find a sustainable solution through private investors - The PM assured the government will respect the interim order of the Single-Member Court regarding employment until June 18

Newsroom May 13 02:34

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with LARCO workers’ union representatives, along with several ministers, to discuss the company’s future. Addressed were the ongoing issues, budgetary challenges, investor search efforts, and existing support measures for workers. Talks included pre-retirement coverage for those over the age of 55 and a two-year employment plan for those under 55 as per a previous ministerial decision.
