Mr. Antonis Samaras in statements to Reuters appeared very assertive that there will be no early elections and that they will be conducted as foreseen in 2016.
He stated that: ” We will eradicate any concerns about political risk”. Elections will be conducted as foreseen in June of 2016 which is the end of the four year parliamentary term”.
The Prime Minister also stressed that Greece is planning an early exit of the International Financing Program. “We can now stand on our own feet. We have the required resources to do so”.
Finally, Mr. Samaras assures continuation of reforms on finance, public administration and justice, since, according to him “this was what brought sustainable development”.
