Solid air masses coming from the northwestern Balkans towards our region will cause a deterioration of the weather mainly in the central and northern areas from Wednesday (03/07/24) noon to late afternoon on Thursday (04-07-24) with heavy rain and thunderstorms accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and local hail.

Heavy showers and thunderstorms are forecast on Wednesday (03-07-24) in eastern Macedonia, Thrace and eastern parts of central Macedonia:

a. In eastern Macedonia, Thrace and parts of central Macedonia (mainly Halkidiki).
b. Thessaly (mainly in its western parts) and the Sporades.
c. In eastern Sterea (including Attica), the northeastern Peloponnese and Euboea.
