A meeting on the safe transmission of election results through the network “Syzefksis” was held at the Greek Police Cyber Crime Unit with the participation of officials and representatives of all involved parties in the process.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on the ways authorities would deal with possible technical issues or malicious actions during the transmission.

The Cyber Crime Unit will be on alert while on the day of the elections specialized officers will be appointed to the Interior Minister to safeguard online infrastructure against possible cyber attacks.
