Equity prices recorded a drop on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) as the basic share price index decreased by 1.70%, at 977.47 points at 11:00 am with a turnover at 7.965 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks decreased by 1.77%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index decreased by 0.42%.
The biggest gains on individual sector indices were recorded in the sectors of Personal & Household (+0.86%), Chemicals (+0.65%) and Commerce (+0.22%).
The biggest losses were recorded in Banks (-2.01%), Construction (-1.91%) and Food & Beverages (-1.81%).
12 of the stocks traded went up, 37 went down and 7 remained unchanged.
