Thessaloniki mayor Yiannis Boutaris, accompanied by a delegation of Thessaloniki municipality, is scheduled to visit Australia between November 20-30, to attend the celebrations for the 30th anniversary since Thessaloniki’s twinning with Melbourne.

During his stay Melbourne and Sydney, Mr. Boutaris will have a series of meetings to promote Thessaloniki as a tourist destination.

It has also been announced that he will visit the Jewish Holocaust Museum and address an event on the Jews of Thessaloniki.
