A new call for immediate military aid was made tonight by Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, stressing that Kyiv needs weapons immediately, not promises.
“Timely delivery is crucial right now. Some packages (of military aid) have been announced and voted on, but they have not yet been delivered to Ukraine. The forces on the front are fighting with shells and equipment, not with words like ‘tomorrow’ or ‘soon,'” the Ukrainian president said in a video message.
Referring to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s visit to Kyiv, Zelensky said it was important that “India continues to uphold international law, to uphold our national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
