Paralympics: ERT’s Comprehensive Broadcast Schedule

ERT will bring the excitement of the Paris Paralympic Games to viewers from August 28 to September 8, showcasing 4,400 athletes competing in 22 sports

Newsroom August 28 01:15

The coverage will be available on ERT2, as well as on the digital channels ERTSPORTS 1 and ERTSPORTS 2 through the ERTFLIX platform. ERT will provide extensive live programming, exceeding 100 hours, with daily broadcasts featuring commentators and guest appearances.

Paris is set to host the Paralympics across various venues and iconic city landmarks. For the first time in Paralympic history, the Opening Ceremony will take place outside of a stadium, at Place de la Concorde on August 28.

The athletes’ parade will occur on the famous Champs-Élysées, and other cultural landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Palace of Versailles, and the Grand Palais, will host some of the sports events.

The Greek Paralympic team, consisting of 40 members—37 athletes, two boccia ramp operators, and one athletics coach—will compete in 10 sports (swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, archery, equestrian, cycling, weightlifting, judo, and boccia). Among them are 13 athletes who have previously won medals in past Paralympic Games.
