Konstantinos Argyros held a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on the evening of September 26.
Accompanied by a symphony orchestra and soloists, the Greek artist presented a musically highly-aesthetic performance.
During the evening, the well-known singer did not miss the opportunity to dance zeibekiko while singing his hit song “Athena mou,” (trnslt. My Athena) calling out to his mother: “Mother, your son is dancing zeibekiko at the Royal Albert Hall!”
The videos of his dance have already gone viral, with fans sharing in his excitement and pride for this significant moment in his career.
The evening was infused with a strong aroma of Greece, as Konstantinos Argyros performed songs from the country’s rich musical tradition and heritage.
One of the touching moments of the night was his tribute to Marinella, to whom he dedicated the song “Pedi Gennaio” (Brave kid). “I want to give love and strength and dedicate the next song first to my family and second to Athens, to Mrs. Marinella,” he added: “We dedicate this to her to give her strength”.
Additionally, at another point, Konstantinos Argyros mentioned his family, as well as his partner, Alexandra Nika, with whom they are expecting their first child, as reported by protothema.gr in July.
“Today is a very important day because, besides all of us here, my family is close to me—my mother, my brother, Alexandra, the whole family that always supports me. Where is my sister Katerina? My nieces!” he notably stated.
After the grand concert, Konstantinos Argyros has become one of the few Greek artists to have performed at the Royal Albert Hall, one of the most important concert halls in the world, where globally renowned artists have appeared over the years.
