SEGAS: New Board Following Sakorafa’s Re-election

Kostas Kenteris Appointed Vice President, Tasoula Kelesidou Becomes Board Member

The Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) has formed its new board of directors after the elections held on September 29, 2024. Sophia Sakorafa was re-elected as president, continuing her leadership.

The rest of the board positions are as follows:

Vice Presidents (in alphabetical order): Giorgos Kalantzis, Kostas Kenteris, Dimitris Chachamis
General Secretary: Giorgos Yatroudakis
Treasurer: Giannis Lioubas
Deputy Treasurer: Giannis Psomiadis
A’ Special Secretary: Loula Karatza
B’ Special Secretary: Eugenia Nikoletopoulou
Commissioner: Vasilis Karanassos

Board Members: Tasoula Kelesidou, Xenia Argeitaki, Giannis Mystakidis, Haris Papadias, Vasilis Zikas, Kyriaki Galani, Lamprini Anastasopoulou, Iakovos Petsoulas, Kostas Triantafyllos, Thanasis Haskis, and Giorgos Symeonidis.

All members were unanimously elected, following the standard procedures.

Additionally, due to time constraints, the first committee, focused on athlete transfers, was also formed. Kostas Triantafyllos was appointed president, with Savvas Nikolaidis as vice president, Eugenia Nikoletopoulou as secretary, and Serafeim Polychronis and Giannis Matsoukas as members.

A small extension has been granted for the ongoing transfer process, with the new deadline set for October 31, instead of October 15.
