According to the Fund’s announcement the contract for the utilization of the Elliniko former airport has been signed between the Fund and Privatization and contractor company Lamda Development.

Lamda Development has submitted a letter of guarantee of 30 million euro and under the terms of the sales contract, to the price of 915 mil. euro, as agreed a further € 1.2 billion euro will be added to be paid by the company to implement the necessary infrastructural projects.

Following the approval of the total development plan, the agreed sum of money will be paid and the 100% of  shares will be transferred to the new owner.
