Serres: Deputy mayors clash over construction machinery management – Watch the heated confrontation video

Tension rose when the two men exchanged sharp accusations about the management of the machines

Newsroom October 17 07:39

Scenes of infinite beauty unfolded at the latest Serron City Council meeting when two deputy mayors came to blows over the management of construction equipment such as graders. The dispute over the control of the machinery, which is believed to be linked to the execution of projects and possible patronage, escalated into a heated verbal confrontation and heavy words.

The tension began to rise when the two deputy mayors exchanged sharp accusations about the management of machinery and the allocation of projects in different areas. According to witnesses, the situation got out of control when the verbal confrontation turned physical, with the two men grabbing hands, causing shock among those present.

At that point, as you can see in the video, city councillors intervened to separate them, while some tried to calm the situation.

This raises questions about transparency in the management of municipal funds and the use of machinery to carry out projects, as many argue that vested interests and buffers are behind the controversies.
