With Coldplay as their “sponsor,” FC Barcelona aims to take on Real Madrid in the upcoming El Clásico, one of the biggest matches in Spanish football.
According to the official announcement, “the band chosen in collaboration with Spotify is none other than Coldplay, one of the world’s biggest pop-rock bands.”
This partnership will be featured in two matches: the men’s team will wear the Coldplay-branded jerseys during the October 26th El Clásico, while the women’s team will don the same kits on November 2nd in their match against Eibar.
Interestingly, this collaboration comes just four weeks after Coldplay released a bilingual English-Spanish version of their song “We Pray,” possibly hinting at this exciting development.
