A surprise visit to Metro worksites in Egaleo and Korydallos was made by the presidential candidate of the European People’s Party Jean-Claude Juncker, accompanied by the secretary of Public Works, and member of the New Democracy party, Mr. Stratos Simopoulos.

Mr. Juncker was guided by a close associate of the Prime Minister on these major projects, speaking warmly of the effort of redeveloping the country. Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis was also present.
