Greek President Karolos Papoulias received on Friday Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. During the meeting, Mr. Mitsotakis present the results of the ministry’s program for promoting transparency in public administration.

Mr. Papoulias expressed his support to the Administrative Reform Minister for the planned reforms in public administration, acknowledging the efforts of the ministry. He also underlined the importance of the project, reiterating his belief that ” without public administration, nothing can be achieved.”

On his part, Mr. Mitsotakis stressed that “public administration needs rules” and that the state must overcome the weaknesses of the past in order to be reliable and build a new administration.
