One of the most expected projects to be completed in 2015 in the city of Athens and in Greece in general is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.

Upon its completion, the center, which is fully funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, will be donated to the Greek State which will at its turn undertake its operation.

The complex will include the new facilities of the National Library of Greece, the new venue of the Greek National Opera as well as a park.

The Cultural Center will emerge in 2015 as a symbol of the 21st century Greece and of contemporary Athens.
