Parliament President Evangelos Meimarakis who is currently at Hania, Crete, underlined today that Greek politicians must reach an understanding regarding the issue of the election of the next President of the Republic.
More specifically, Mr. Meimarakis stated that “in a period in which all issues are still open and there’s a very large puzzle of uncertainty in Greece and abroad” he strongly believes there are pressing matters that must be immediately resolved.
The President of the Parliament stressed that the solution of these problems depends on whether a President will be elected or not, and the possibility of early national elections.
