Universities: Deadline for students to submit transfer applications tomorrow

The deadline for electronic submissions is November 26 – Results will be announced subsequently

At 3:00 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the deadline for electronic submission of student transfer applications will expire.

Applications can be submitted via the electronic platform at https://transfer.it.minedu.gov.gr.

Eligible Applicants Include:

Students seeking a transfer/movement for reasons qualifying for additional points in the evaluation process.

Undergraduate students with siblings who are also undergraduate students.

Students from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Higher Ecclesiastical Academies (HEAs) who were admitted to tertiary education under the category of health conditions listed in the Joint Ministerial Decision Φ151/17897/Β6/2014 (Β’ 358), as amended or replaced, exceeding the standard admission quota by 5% without examinations for the academic year 2024-2025.

Students admitted above the standard admission quota in HEIs, either as Greek citizens of the Muslim Minority in Thrace or those of Cypriot descent, subject to specific transfer regulations.

Students who are children of victims of terrorism, as referred to in Article 1, Paragraph 1 of Law 1897/1990 (A΄120).

Students who are children of Armed Forces or Security Corps personnel fatally injured during active service.

Regarding the Application Submission Process
To submit their application electronically, applicants must visit the designated platform at https://transfer.it.minedu.gov.gr or through the Ministry’s official website.

Applicants must log in to the application system using the username and password provided by the Secretariat of their School or Department for accessing the institution’s electronic services.

It is noted that possessing a Tax Identification Number (TIN) is mandatory for applicants seeking a transfer under the additional points criteria, for undergraduate students with siblings, and for Greek citizens of the Muslim Minority in Thrace.

The results of the electronic applications will be announced after the deadline for submission has passed.
