Confessions by the ten defendants, who were arrested during the riots following the police in the centre of Athens, in memory of 15-year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos.
After their apologies, all the defendants were released, while they were given restrictive conditions to appear twice a month at a police station in their area, as well as a ban on leaving the country.
Ahead of the pleas of the ten arrested, about 40 solidarity activists had gathered outside the building – where the interrogation offices of the former Evelpidon school’s courts are located in the early morning, chanting slogans in their support.
