Mild temperatures and mostly fair weather set Greeks up for a beautiful Christmas day.

More specifically, fair weather is forecast in most parts of the country with variable winds. Wind velocity is expected to reach 5-6 on the Beaufort scale.

Temperatures will range from -5C to 13C in western Macedonia, -2C to 15C in Northern Greece, -1C to 17C in Central Greece and 8C to 15C in the Aegean Islands and Crete.

Weather will be mostly fair in Athens, while in Thessaloniki some scattered clouds are forecast in the afternoon.
