Main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) leader Alexis Tsipras insisted that Sunday’s European elections will act as a referendum in Greece, in statements to the newspaper “Proto Thema” on Friday.
The opposition leader reiterated the motto “we vote on May 25, they leave on May 26” but avoided talking about the possibility of early action. He hinted, however, that his party will eventually cause a national election after the presidential election in 2015.
