The rise of parties such as SYRIZA in Greece and Podemos in Spain, Bloomberg introduces a new term in the European crisis.

The article explains that at the beginning of the crisis Angela Merkel and Nicola Sarkozy often appeared together pressurizing their counterparts for the adoption of  austerity and they gained  the nickname Merkozy. Now in Eurozone a new duo is created the one of Tsiglesias.
Furthermore, Blomberg makes a reminder of the frequent exchange of messages via Twitter between the two politicians, with the latest one being immediately after the failure of election of the President of the Republic in Greece and declaring early elections.

In conclusion, as the reporter of the article explains, the first wave of the crisis in Eurozone (2010-2012) was concerning the fear of investors for debt sustainability. Since the debt crisis is nearly over but the economic crisis remains as unemployment remains too high (especially in countries of the European region) the “The rage for the given is increasingly expressed through the polls as voters support politicians who promise to change the system”.
